世界で最も多忙かつ成功を収めている少年合唱団の一つといわれるトリニティ少年合唱団。ミラノ、パリ、ロンドンのコンサートホールやオペラハウスに定期的に登場し、世界的な音楽家と度々共演を果たしています。
このアルバムではウェストミンスター宮殿の聖スティーヴンス礼拝堂に務めたとされるチューダー朝の音楽家、ニコラス・ラドフォードの《ミサ・ドミニカ》を再構築し、中世の聖歌や現代の作品と並べて歌うことで新しい音楽的文脈を生み出しています。トリニティ少年合唱団の輝かしい歌声がオルガンの音色と見事に調和し、そこにハンドベル・コア・ゴータが加わりさらに豊かなサウンドを作り上げています。
