ベルギーの歴史都市ルーヴェンの東側、ケッセル＝ローにあるフリールベーク修道院の創建900周年を記念して制作されたアルバム。中心となるのは1737年頃にジャン＝バティスト・ル・ピカールによってフリールベークに建造された歴史的なオルガン。18世紀から19世紀にかけての南ネーデルラントで栄えた音楽文化に焦点を当て、現在では各地に点在してしまっている楽譜や手稿譜を研究、再構成し現代に甦らせます。
オルガン独奏のみならずリコーダーや弦楽器、そしてベルギー古楽界の名匠エリク・ファン・ネーヴェル率いる古楽アンサンブル「クレンデ」による声楽を加えることで、より当時の響きを立体的かつ忠実に再現することを目指しています。
